I first developed an interest in unusual clothing from a very early age when my mum filled a dressing up box with her 'out of fashion' various biba, bus stop and ossie Clark pieces and allowed me to do 'be creative' with them....They still exist however a 5 year old and a pair of scissors can do a lot of damage! For years I raided local church hall jumble sales and built up vast collection of interesting clothing....realising I had aquired a little too much for me alone to wear, I set up a small stall at portobello market 15 years ago, which grew in size over the years. I would describe my taste as colourful, eclectic and most of all affordable, therefore allowing a buyer to purchase an unusual piece for a fair price and create a striking look on a budget. I source pieces from the local charity shops through to New York flea markets. I do not specialise in one particular era, I chose to buy pieces that inspire me for their colour, texture or cut.
